After 3 years of generic training programs, I felt it was time for something different. Endurance Matters prepared a personalized program for me based on my level of fitness and upcoming goals. Through frequent exchanges over the e-mail and at the clinic sessions, my program was continuously fine tuned adjusting for improvements, travel and family commitments. Short races over the summer further defined my program. The training runs had great variety, were challenging and fun. The clinic sessions were a wonderful opportunity for one on one interactions and a chance to meet and watch other runners. I have made lasting friendships. During the two eight week clinics, I took 8 minutes off my half marathon and 7 minutes off my full marathon with no injuries. As a bonus my tennis game has improved! I am looking forward to a winter season of on-line coaching with Endurance Matters, focusing on form and preparing for next years racing season.

What I like about Endurance Matters is the individualized training. I like the fact that the training was tailored to my weaknesses and my strengths as well as my goals. I have improved a lot since I signed on with Endurance Matters’ individualized training. I improved my half marathon from 2:16 to 1:57, a full marathon personal record of 4:28 from 5:08. The training changes depending on my goals. As a result I am continuously motivated to reach new goals.
